[paragraph extra=””]Africa Institute for Culture and Ecology [AFRICE] is a non-governmental organisation that is registered in Uganda and broadly focuses on working with communities to revive their knowledge and practices on food, land and ecosystems conservation. Our work is to enable communities to revive and enhance their traditional knowledge systems in addressing the challenges they face, according to their priorities. Some of the current challenges include: climate change, environmental degradation, food insecurity, community and land conflicts, and loss of cultural identity, among others[/paragraph]
